#Office365Challenge – Notes in Outlook – This post is dedicated to Liam & Louise, for showing me this awesome thing in Outlook. Yup – there’s another thing I didn’t know.

Day: 61 of 365, 304 left
Tools: Microsoft Outlook
Description: Using Notes in Outlook

So yes, there’s Notebook or OneNote as we know it. Which I’ll share a couple of blogs about. But today, we’ll talk about Notes in Outlook. Why do I think this is awesome – because I’m one of those “35 Sticky Notes on my Desktop” people. (Please don’t tell my boss – cause that’s dangerous data RIGHT THERE).

So, creating notes in Outlook is pretty awesome because: It’s always available (even on your phone and Web interface).

How does it work:

In Outlook, you’ll see the ellipses, click on this and click on Notes:

Outlook Notes1

Notes, allows you to add multiple notes, in one place, but believe me – knowing how many sticky notes I’ve “lost from my desktop this is the better way to go!!
Outlook Notes3

There you go – another really amazing thing about Office (you most probably didn’t know).

Overview of my challenge: As an absolute lover of all things Microsoft, I’ve decided to undertake the challenge, of writing a blog every single day, for the next 365 days. Crazy, I know. And I’ll try my best, but if I cannot find something good to say about Office 365 and the Tools it includes for 365 days, I’m changing my profession. So let’s write this epic tale of “Around the Office in 365 Days”. My ode to Microsoft Office 365.

Keep in mind that these tips and tricks do not only apply to Office 365 – but where applicable, to the overall Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
