#Office365Challenge Today’s Flow template will allow you to setup a push notification when items are added on a specific library.

So what’s different from the normal Alerts on libraries you might ask? These are push notifications – not emails. When you have the Flow app on your phone, it will popup a push notification similar to an sms. You can also modify the message in the notification (this was not possible with out of the box Alerts).

The template I used is Get a push notification when a new file is added in SharePoint:

Connections should be setup:

In the “When file is created” I setup the site / library I would like to monitor. Under “Send Push Notification” I defined the fields to be published for the notification:

Overview of my challenge: As an absolute lover of all things Microsoft, I’ve decided to undertake the challenge, of writing a blog every single day, for the next 365 days. Crazy, I know.
