ATOI365D#Office365Challenge Today I’ll show you how to add Tooltips to the fields on your PowerApp.

Day: 261 of 365, 104 left
Tools: PowerApps
Description: PowerApps:  Adding Tooltips to your fields
Audience: End User / Power User

To add Tooltips to your fields, select the field, then click on Content Tab > Tooltip: powerapps013

Add the Tooltip text between the quotes:
powerapps014

This is how the tooltip will display:
powerapps012

Note: “In general this is only possible if the device used has the ability to translate certain touch gestures to “hover” events. The stylus used also plays a role here. A simple stylus (or a finger) doesn’t necessarily have the resolution to produce anything other than “touched” or “not touched” — and that extra resolution is exactly what would be needed to show tooltips.” Read more…

Empowering People, one app at a time…

Overview of my challenge: As an absolute lover of all things Microsoft, I’ve decided to undertake the challenge, of writing a blog every single day, for the next 365 days. Crazy, I know. And I’ll try my best, but if I cannot find something good to say about Office 365 and the Tools it includes for 365 days, I’m changing my profession. So let’s write this epic tale of “Around the Office in 365 Days”. My ode to Microsoft Office 365.
Keep in mind that these tips and tricks do not only apply to Office 365 – but where applicable, to the overall Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
