#Microsoft365 #Office365 #SharePoint – The Image Web Part is an interesting one for me. I would have loved if it had a Title and URL I could add. However, here’s 3 creative ways to use the Image Web Part on your SharePoint Online Pages.

Image Web Part

Use this to insert an image on the page, either from your site or your hard drive. Use the Image web part on a page.

Take note that these web parts are not available yet for use on classic pages. On how to create pages and add web parts, see SharePoint Pages and Web Parts Introduction.

Adding the web part:

Put your page in to edit mode and click on the “+” to add a new web part. Choose the Image, add a title

Choose the image from recent items, current site or upload the image. Select, the image, click OK. Save and Publish your page:

 

 

A:  Use as a ‘creative’ divider between web parts as most of the backgrounds are white:

 

 

B:  Use it to promote campaigns / posters etc. which are in PNG or JPEG format.

C:  Another idea is adding GIF’s here as it’s seen as an image. Make sure the images you use are all the same size. To know more about creating GIF’s – read this post:  Using a GIF in your Hero Web Part
