People Web Part

The People web part allows you to display a selected group of people and their profiles on your page. It can be used for contact information, team information, presenters, and more. Use the People web part.

Add the Web Part:

Put your page in edit mode and click on the “+” to add the People web part:

 

Cool ways to use this web part:

Use it to highlight ownership on pages for support or the team of that department:

 

 

 

Show the author of an article:

Show content owners above the web parts on a page:

Welcome new starters:

 

Keep in mind that when you hover over the profile, it opens the contact card. You can also click on See More to view Contact, About, Organization and Files. Now calm down for a minute, the files are security trimmed so will only show files you have access to 🙂
