Your #Intranet is taking great form!! Let’s take a look at what this looks like in the mobile app. This is very important as you’ll see how the web parts wrap on the page, and might influence you into making other decisions around the placement of web parts. The mobile apps also has the News, People and Me section which gives your more information about announcements, the people you work with and the content you work with.

The News on the #Modern Sites on #SharePoint is a pretty nifty way to gradually replace those announcement emails with attachments. These also publish nicely to the Mobile SharePoint app. Not only can you add text and images, but any of the web parts you’d use on other pages. So just think of how dynamic these articles could be? Lets take a look.

Today we’ll make more changes to the home page of our #Intranet. Let’s add the documents and FAQ’s, content owners, Yammer, Twitter, Stream and Forms. The Newsfeed, Events and Quick Links web parts we’ll keep. With Forms we’ll display both the form as well as the results.

#Microsoft365 Day 304: Let’s Build a #SharePoint Intranet Together (Part 14)

I absolutely love the Hero Web Part. It really makes my pages look great and I can point to so many different areas and use great images to bring my site together with a new look and feel. I’ll be editing this web part, but won’t only use images. Let’s see how a GIF can transform your web part and your Home page.

#Microsoft365 Day 303: Let’s Build a #SharePoint Intranet Together (Part 13)

The exciting stuff is about to start happening. Today we’ll take a look at changing your look and feel with the various ‘composed looks’ available. We’ll also change the site logo. Keep in mind this is also used as the “home page button’. Remember that the images you use on your Home page (pages) should at least compliment the look and feel chosen. No matter how awesome these Communication Site templates are, some colours and images just don’t go together nicely.

#Microsoft365 Day 302: Let’s Build a #SharePoint Intranet Together (Part 12)

Just over half way there, and we’ve already got a good looking #Intranet. In this session we’ll use the template page for our departments to copy a page for Human Resources. I’ll also show you how to edit the page as well as filter the web parts to the documents and FAQ’s it uses. Remember to build one for each department you have. In the next video we’ll change the look and feel of our site, as well as add our own logo.
