#Office365Challenge – Descriptions on Apps in SharePoint. When creating new apps in SharePoint it asks you for a description. Yes I know, most people don’t fill this in, but it does have a very useful function.

Day: 94 of 365, 271 left
Tools: SharePoint
Description: Descriptions on Apps in SharePoint

When creating the app, click on advanced options then fill in the description:

Once the app is created you’ll see the “Info” sign next to the name. When you click on this you’ll see the info on the app. This is important for users to know who to contact, and also for the site administrators when they’re having a look at apps being built:

Just another amazing thing SharePoint does!

Overview of my challenge: As an absolute lover of all things Microsoft, I’ve decided to undertake the challenge, of writing a blog every single day, for the next 365 days. Crazy, I know. And I’ll try my best, but if I cannot find something good to say about Office 365 and the Tools it includes for 365 days, I’m changing my profession. So let’s write this epic tale of “Around the Office in 365 Days”. My ode to Microsoft Office 365.

Keep in mind that these tips and tricks do not only apply to Office 365 – but where applicable, to the overall Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
