When you start using Teams, you actually want to avoid communicating with the same Team through Outlook as well. Occasionally you have to send an email though and a great way to keep track of that and notify your Team is by sending (or cc’ing) the channel in your Team. This can also be used for external parties who needs to send you mails.

Is it possible to create a task from the email sent to the individual channel?

Hi Stephanie, what I would do is write a Flow that monitors your sent items, whenever you send an email to a specific email address (channel) it also creates a task in Planner. I’ll go write a blog now that shows you how to do it?
