I am an energetic, hyperactive adrenaline junkie who sees challenges / issues as opportunities and thrives on improving processes, environments and the general quality of life. My broad knowledge about IT AND Business gives me the ability to communicate on both levels and convey meaningful requirements and narrow the (ever present) gap between the two.
My passion is to empower people and therefore training and change management lie close to my heart. My Mission is to positively impact WHAT and HOW people create, as I believe that what we design / create, designs / creates us back (Ontological Design). It is about enabling others to serve themselves better, expand their possibilities, increase their capacity to learn, act more effectively and better design their future.
With all things Information Technology, the proverbial proof is in the usage. This cannot be achieved without equipping users with the correct type of enablement to achieve their goals and that of the organization. We measure literacy before, during and after and adjust our training plans to best suit the uniqueness of each organization, thus fostering a personal one on one relationship with all users throughout the engagement. Training includes SharePoint (End User / Power User), Microsoft Office, Office 365, Digital Literacy & Soft Skills.
There are over 83 000 books on business change on Amazon, yet most studies still show a 60-70% failure rate for organizational change in companies. Our intensive focus or core business change methodologies provides stakeholders with proactive metrics to ensure that users are put first in the change process.
Effective adoption is derived from two things; Training and Business Change. Both are intrinsic to the overall usability of the implemented solution. By building quantifiable metrics upfront, we are able to measure the granular stages of adoption from product awareness, interest, evaluation, training and finally adoption. Interweaving the training and business change phases to create a strategy for innovation and growth provides organizations with the tangibility required for adoption success.
User experience patterns and practices form the basis for strategic governance. Through our comprehensive stakeholder engagement framework, we are able to extract the strategic imperatives of the organization and turn blue sky into tacit productivity enrichment solutions.
Most organizations have to cater for “Business As Usual” all while trying to implement the thought leadership concepts and solutions deemed necessary by top level management. With rapid prototyping, organizations are able to build and test through iterative consulting which translates into less user down time and more user uptake, as we empower the users with being part of the decision and not a bystander, being excluded from the process. This empowerment tactic drastically assists with the overall adoption, with users becoming “Ambassadors of Change” in the organization.
