#Office365Challenge – Office ribbon – how to pin or unpin (into place).
Day: | 37 of 365, 328 left |
Tools: | Excel |
Description: | How to Pin/Unpin the Office Ribbon |
Even thought the Office Ribbon is pretty awesome if you ask me – it could ‘get in the way’ sometimes as it takes up a lot of space. See below how to hide the ribbon when necessary.
Below you’ll see that the ribbon has a “Collapse the Ribbon” arrow in the right corner.
When you press this the Ribbon will disappear.
To make the ribbon appear again – you have to click on one of the tabs to expand it again. If you would like to keep the ribbon in place – simply click on the “Pin the Ribbon” icon on the right.
Sorted!!
Overview of my challenge: As an absolute lover of all things Microsoft, I’ve decided to undertake the challenge, of writing a blog every single day, for the next 365 days. Crazy, I know. And I’ll try my best, but if I cannot find something good to say about Office 365 and the Tools it includes for 365 days, I’m changing my profession. So let’s write this epic tale of “Around the Office in 365 Days”. My ode to Microsoft Office 365.
Keep in mind that these tips and tricks do not only apply to Office 365 – but where applicable, to the overall Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.

your example windows show Office but not Office 365. it’s not in a browser window. My window looks different and I don’t have tabs or the ribbon display button.
