#Office365Challenge – Trimming videos is not something I’ve ever done – why? Because I found it too difficult – with too many apps out there to use, and too little time to figure it out. I got told today, that you can do this in PowerPoint – and that’s why I’m here, sharing the good news with you.

Day: 71 of 365, 294 left
Tools: Microsoft PowerPoint
Description: Trimming Videos in PowerPoint

This is super easy to do, simply insert the video on a PowerPoint slid by clicking on the Insert Tab, then on Video:
TrimVideo1

Once the video is inserted, you’ll see the Video Tools available for use. Click on the Playback Tab, then on Trim video. Here you’ll see the timeline where you can make changes to the start and end of the video, click on OK to save. When you’ve saved your changes, you can right click on the video in PowerPoint and save it as a Media (video) file to your c:Drive.

And that’s how easy it is!!! PowerPoint for the win!

Overview of my challenge: As an absolute lover of all things Microsoft, I’ve decided to undertake the challenge, of writing a blog every single day, for the next 365 days. Crazy, I know. And I’ll try my best, but if I cannot find something good to say about Office 365 and the Tools it includes for 365 days, I’m changing my profession. So let’s write this epic tale of “Around the Office in 365 Days”. My ode to Microsoft Office 365.

Keep in mind that these tips and tricks do not only apply to Office 365 – but where applicable, to the overall Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
