ATOI365D#Office365Challenge The Office 365 Update in August (2016), brought you the ability to restore permanently delete items in Outlook.

Day: 295 of 365, 70 left
Tools: Office 365, Outlook
Description: Restore permanently deleted items in Outlook
Audience: All

When deleting items from your Deleted folder, take note that it asks to permanently delete the items. Now that’s enough to make anyone, NEVER EVER clean there Deleted folder.

Outlook now allows you to recover permanently deleted items. It only keeps it there for 14 days by default. To access this ‘folder’, navigate to the Deleted Folder and you will see the “Recover items recently removed from this folder” link at the top. When clicked it will open the folder and allow you to select which items you would like to recover or delete for REAL, FOR EVER. 🙂

Thanks Microsoft.

Overview of my challenge: As an absolute lover of all things Microsoft, I’ve decided to undertake the challenge, of writing a blog every single day, for the next 365 days. Crazy, I know. And I’ll try my best, but if I cannot find something good to say about Office 365 and the Tools it includes for 365 days, I’m changing my profession. So let’s write this epic tale of “Around the Office in 365 Days”. My ode to Microsoft Office 365.
Keep in mind that these tips and tricks do not only apply to Office 365 – but where applicable, to the overall Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
