It’s just me and a sheep in my small company and Office 365 ROCKS our worlds!! I absolutely LOVE Office 365. For years I worked in companies where it cost millions to have SharePoint, File shares or Workflow tools. And I thought I’d never have that. But I do, and I’ve had my Office 365 subscription for 5+ years now. I’m able to do incredibly cool stuff for my small one (wo)man + one sheep company and it really is incredible, even more so when you see what’s included in the subscriptions.
If you’re a small company between 1 and 300 people then I’d look at the Office 365 Business Essentials of Business Premium subscriptions.
These included Exchange (emails 50Gb), OneDrive (1 TB), SharePoint, Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams and Yammer, Planner, Sway, Flow and PowerApps. Both have Office Online, the Premium plan includes fully installed Office for 5 PC’s or Macs, 5 Tablets and 5 Phones, StaffHub and Microsoft Bookings.
- Business Essentials – R73,20 p.m. per user ($5.00 p.m.)
- Business Premium – R182,90 p.m. per user ($12.50 p.m.)
Even if you just need email, file storage and Microsoft Office for you PC, Business Premium is still worth it (15 devices), because of all the cool apps and services you get with it. And it will cost you the same as 7.3 beers (in SA anyway). AND it doesn’t make you fat.
Compare plans and pricing:
Yes you can buy subscriptions for Home use only which includes Office and some also have OneDrive and Skype for Business. See below to compare:
