Ever been frustrated by Check In / Check Out features enabled on libraries in SharePoint? It would if you didn’t understand the benefit or why it was switched on. This feature really helps if multiple people need to edit the same documents (but not at the same time) – and co-authoring is not what you’re looking for. Checking Documents out helps to safeguard against saving conflict and will only allow other people to Edit, once checked back in.

Purpose of this blog challenge:  I will write 365 blogs in 365 days around Microsoft 365.
