#Office365Challenge As promised we’ll start playing with PowerApps. Today’s post will cover the basics of form editing.

There are different ways of creating PowerApps. For today’s example I created a custom list in SharePoint and added the necessary columns. I will use this app to add resources I use (blogs etc.).

This is what the form looks like in SharePoint:

Once the list is created, I clicked on the PowerApps Dropdown and selected “Create an App”:

I gave it a name and clicked on Create. PowerApps opened, if you haven’t used it before it will ask you to sign in.

Change the Background:

Under the Screen Tab I inserted a new Background image on each view of the form. I had to change the Image Position to .Fill to completely fill the form with the image:

Once all the backgrounds were set, I selected every text label and changed the font colour and bold width:

I saved the app (this is where you’ll share the app as well with other people for use) and accessed it from the PowerApps app on my phone:

1. PowerApp in my list
2. Form before editing on my phone
3. View List after editing on my phone
4. Edit form on my phone

I added an item to test and it successfully published to SharePoint.

Voila!! Pretty cool Microsoft!!
